A Community Response to Homelessness Doors open @ 5.30 p.m. and all are invited to a potluck @ 6 p.m. Just bring a dish. The program will start at 6. 30 p.m. at the Upper Valley Senior Center in Lebanon.
Jim Kenyon has generously shared his archived articles from 2001 on “The Other Side of the Valley,” an eight-part series that examined the financial struggles of four local families. It offered an unblinking view of many hard-working families and their impossible struggle to make ends meet. It is well worth the read.
Join us to find out what has changed, if anything, since 2001.
George Sykes will be moderating the panel. The participating panelists are the following:
- Representative Susan Almy, eleven-term incumbent for Lebanon.
- Andrew Winter, Twin Pines Housing Trust.
- Dawn Ferringo, Tri-County CAP.
- Sara Kobylenski, The Upper Valley Haven.
